A Permutation of a collection of items is some arrangement, or rearrangement, of them. For $n$ items there are $n$ factorial permutations. For example, for the set ${a,b,c}$ we have: * ${abc,\;acb,\;bac,\;bca,\;cab,\;cba},$ Six permutation, because $3!~=~6.$
