A "Prime Pair," also known as "Twin Primes," is a pair of Prime Numbers that differ by exactly two. For example, (11, 13), (29,31), and so on. It is conjectured, but unknown, that there are infinitely many of these. Recent advances have shown that no matter how far you go, there will then be a pair of primes that differ by at most 246. If that value "246" could be replaced by "2" then the twin primes conjecture will have been proven.
